China chaired the 2022 BRICS Summit. In order to summarize the achievements and experiences of the BRICS countries in the field of energy cooperation, since their establishment, World Trade Consultancy was invited to undertake the writing of the "2012-2021 BRICS Energy Cooperation Report". This report became an important achievement for China to summarize the experience of BRICS cooperation in the energy sector and promote further BRICS cooperation during the 2022 BRICS Summit.
